A book of romance among elitists in the Victorian era. However, at times, you might find whatever the characters are doing aren't what elites do or should do. As a romance it's a success. It has good writing and narrative and even it makes you root for the characters. At times, you might might like things are not running organically or things just don't go touching the heart enough. Around the end, it even read like fan fictions. Overall, I thought, with the premise and writing it could easily become a literary work of romance. But it doesn't have enough detailing of life and the set. That keeps the readers far away and makes you in a hurry to finish it. But it's still enjoyable, enough to make you burn on some pages. At least, it has better writings than most of the ones in the genre.
